· 7 min read What a $15 FT232H can do on a bench How Scryglass drives FTDI FT232H, FT2232H and FT4232H boards as UART, GPIO, I2C and SPI instruments: the pin budget per mode, clock rates, spare-pin inputs alongside a live bus, macros, recipe triggers, and the honest list of limits. · 7 min read A bench any model can sit at Scryglass's built-in MCP server exposes 27 tools for querying captured GPIO, I2C/SPI, UART and power data, and for driving the bench. It works with any MCP client, including local models, and hardware actuation is off by default.
